What We Do:

- Reduce the amount of tobacco advertising in the retail environment
- Work with community organizations and events to adopt a policy prohibiting acceptance of tobacco company advertising, sponsorship and promotion
- Increase policies that prohibit tobacco use in outdoor areas, including public parks, playgrounds, campuses and in proximity to building entryways
- Promote the New York State Smokers’ Quit Line and provide self-help materials
- Conduct media campaigns on numerous tobacco-related issues
